Roundtell
Terms of use
Last updated: 23 July 2026
These terms set out the basic rules for using Roundtell through the web app, android.roundtell.com, or an installed Roundtell app. By creating, joining or submitting to a circle, you agree to use the service responsibly.
Use Roundtell for good
Roundtell is designed for respectful appreciation. Only submit kind, truthful and appropriate comments. Do not use it to harass, shame, discriminate against, threaten, impersonate, embarrass or target anyone.
Circle organisers
Organisers are responsible for the people they invite, the purpose of the circle, and any permissions needed to use participants' names or contact details. Do not add someone to a circle without a legitimate reason to invite them. Keep the organiser PIN and participant links private. If you use WhatsApp, SMS, email or another app to send links, you are responsible for sending those messages lawfully and respectfully.
Participants and anonymity
Each personal link is intended for one participant and one submission. Roundtell hides the writer's identity in the results, but cannot prevent someone from recognising a writing style or inferring who wrote a comment. Treat everyone's comments with care.
Content and safety
We may limit, remove or block content or access that is abusive, unlawful, harmful, or risks the safety or privacy of others. The optional content check is a helpful prompt, not a guarantee that every unsuitable comment will be detected.
Optional voice, translation and AI tools
Some features may use microphone recording, transcription, translation, spoken playback, content checks or theme extraction. These tools may rely on third-party AI or cloud providers such as OpenAI and/or Google Cloud. Voice recording is optional where it appears; you can type instead. Do not submit sensitive personal information in audio or comments.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Roundtell available and reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, technical problems, provider outages or changes. Features may be updated, added, limited or removed as Roundtell develops. The free Android version may include a smaller feature set than the general web app.
Android app
The Android version of Roundtell is currently provided as a free app for small circles. It does not include payments or subscriptions in this first version. If paid features are introduced later, they will be presented clearly and handled according to the rules of the relevant app store or platform.
Your content
You remain responsible for what you submit. You give Roundtell permission to store, process, display, translate, transcribe, check and export submitted content only as needed to run the circle and provide requested features, in line with the Privacy notice.
Important limits
Roundtell is not a reporting, safeguarding, grievance or emergency service. Do not use it to report urgent concerns, misconduct, abuse, medical issues or anything requiring formal investigation. Use the appropriate organisation, safeguarding lead or emergency service instead.
Children and supervised groups
Roundtell is not directed at young children. If you use Roundtell with children, students or a supervised group, the organiser is responsible for deciding whether the activity is appropriate and for getting any permissions required by the school, organisation, parent or guardian.
These terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Roundtell after an update means you accept the updated terms. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
